Originally founded in 2015 as Tax Consultants of New York LLC, the taxdoc Rob Shoykhet set out with the vision of bringing the traditional income tax office straight to you. Home visits, office visits and virtual solutions are the foundation on which taxdoc’s services have grown and evolved. We are transparent, empathetic and extremely thorough.
Your safety is of utmost importance to us, which is why we’ve adapted the capabilities of securely video-chatting and exchanging messages via the RingCentral platform at no extra cost to you! Moreover, our secure web-based client portal allows us to exchange sensitive information in the form of text or files by using your computer or simply an application on your mobile device and we’re always available to guide you through the process.

Practicing income tax preparation since 2012, Rob brings a fresh and unique perspective to the table. Rob began his career working for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, aimed at providing no-cost services to the lower income class in his community of South Brooklyn, NY.
Rob continued to found Tax Consultants of New York, which later rebranded to taxdoc, in order to bring the core values necessary to help those who cannot help themselves to the general public.
What sets him apart is his ability to patiently listen and adjust to your needs, rather than impose one strategy for everyone that comes his way. In his free time, Rob enjoys exercising, going on adventures, and consuming ALL the pizza. Don’t hesitate to ask for
